After taking some time to look after Baby Whale (don’t worry that’s not his real name) I’m happy to be back at Paper Whale. A lot has been going on behind the scenes and some things have changed. I’m so happy to finally be able to share this transformation. For starters…
Being a mother means my work-life balance has shifted. The vision for Paper Whale has also changed, expanding my focus to use my design skills with unlimited creativity. This way I get to share my design portfolio with you, show you snippets of what life as a working-from-home-graphic-designer-mum is like and take you on my journey to write and illustrate a children’s book (more on this later).
Sometimes, you need to step outside, get some air, and remind yourself of who you are and who you want to be.
Looking after a tiny human, running a business and keeping the creative juices flowing makes for an exciting balance which I think is interesting to share.
To get to know me better, read my story on the introducing page.
Have a look at my design work on the portfolio page which I will be adding new work to regularly. I will be writing down my thoughts on anything design related and share my journey in trying to write and illustrate a children’s book.
Do you have a vision for anything creative but don’t quite know where to start? Are you in need of a logo, business stationery, invitations for your wedding day, or are you having a birthday party or baby shower that needs some great graphic design? Let me help by executing your vision with precision and through an excellent eye for detail. Send me an email at email@example.com or go to the hello page.
Until next time,
